Assemblymen Hutchison LD4

Assemblyman Dan Hutchison is a father of four, an attorney, and a five-term Gloucester Township Councilman.

Assemblyman Hutchison has dedicated his career to helping people cope in difficult financial times. During his 27-year career as a bankruptcy attorney, he has proved himself a true problem solver and advocate, helping over 7500 people save their homes and cars and obtain relief from crushing debt. He also serves as the Gloucester County Regional Coordinator for the Financial Literacy Program. He visits high schools throughout Camden and Gloucester Counties to discuss the pitfalls of obtaining and using credit unwisely.

During his time on council, Hutchison has been a staunch advocate for fiscal responsibility, lowering property taxes, economic development, investing in youth, and community safety.

Hutchison earned his J.D. from Widener University Law School. He opened his law practice in Gloucester Township in 1997 and is currently working on obtaining a master’s degree in law at Saint John’s University.

Hutchison and his wife Karen have resided in Gloucester Township since 1995. They have four children: Katie, Shawn, Nick, and Brian. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering and coaching youth in Gloucester Township, serving as a soccer commissioner and Tiger Scout Den leader, and coaching soccer, baseball, and basketball. He enjoys volunteering and coaching youth in Gloucester Township in his free time. He has also served as a Tiger Scout Den leader and sponsored the local football, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball organizations.

Assemblymen  Miller LD4

Assemblyman Cody Miller serves on the Monroe Township Board of Education and is the director of Foundation and Alumni Relations at Rowan College of South Jersey.

Before his election to the school board in 2021, Assemblyman Miller served on the Monroe Township Council for four years. He was the youngest Democratic council member elected in township history at age 23.

In his first term on the school board, Miller helped secure over $25 million for capital energy improvements through the state Energy Savings Improvement Program, resulting in significant school upgrades at no cost to taxpayers, and worked to facilitate the joint solar initiative between Monroe Township government, board of education, and the Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority, saving taxpayers millions of dollars over the next 30 years. He also helped initiate full-day pre-K and fought for funding to increase the number of families with access.

 

While on Monroe Township Council, Assemblyman Miller established numerous redevelopment and rehabilitation designation sites, spurring business and economic development. He also worked with the Mayor and Council to curb substance abuse and create the Market-to-Affordable Housing Program in Monroe Township.

 

Miller is a proud first-generation college graduate who worked through college and was raised by a single mom of four. He is enrolled in the Doctorate of Higher Education Leadership at Rowan University and is a volunteer firefighter with Williamstown Fire Company #1.
