Funding secured by Moriarty, Hutchison, Miller results in the Winslow Township Fire Department Critical Equipment Upgrades

We visited the Winslow Township Fire Department to see how the state budget funding we secured last year is now being put to work. Among the upgrades, the department was able to purchase a new training prop and essential gear that enhances both safety and daily operations.

One of the most impactful additions was a bail-out communication kit, a vital tool that replaces the ropes firefighters once used when radio communication wasn’t safe during active fire situations. This new equipment will help improve coordination in emergencies and keep both first responders and the community safer.
