As of June 1, New Jersey job seekers have a new tool to help them make informed decisions: Senator Moriarty’s salary transparency bill (S2310) is now in effect.
Under the new law, employers with 10 or more employees are required to include salary information in job postings. This change ensures that applicants won’t waste time applying for positions that don’t meet their financial needs and helps level the playing field for workers across the state.
“Job seekers deserve honesty and clarity from the start,” said Senator Moriarty. “This law gives people the information they need to make smart decisions for themselves and their families.”
Whether you’re actively job hunting or just exploring your options, this law brings greater transparency to the process and helps you focus on opportunities that truly align with your goals.
