Senator Moriarty's Salary Transparency Bill Passes Assembly, Now Awaits Governor’s Signature

In today's competitive job market, transparency is becoming more important than ever. Job seekers are looking for positions that align with their qualifications and career goals, while employers seek to attract the best talent. One critical factor in streamlining this process is salary transparency, that’s why Senator Moriarty’s bill, aimed at promoting salary transparency has successfully passed the Assembly and is now on the Governor’s desk.

This legislation requires employers to include salary ranges in job postings, giving applicants a clearer understanding of potential compensation.

“Salary transparency is a win-win situation for everyone involved,” said Senator Moriarty. “It not only makes the hiring process more efficient but also fosters greater equity in the workplace by creating a level playing field for all applicants. This legislation is a step toward a fairer and more efficient job market.”
