Governor Murphy signed my bill, S2310, into law, which took effect on June 1st, 2025. This new law mandates that all New Jersey employers include salary ranges and first-year benefits in their help-wanted advertisements. This new law gives job seekers clearer expectations and helps businesses attract applicants who know the compensation up front.

Our team reviewed listings on major sites and found most employers are following the law, but some aren’t. Teaching jobs, food service jobs, and even specialized medical positions were posted without salary info. We’re working with the Attorney General’s office and the Department of Labor to educate employers and keep them compliant.

If you see a New Jersey job listing without salary and benefits, let us know through servingsouthjersey.com. Questions? Call us at 856-232-6700.
